Dear Ms. Johnson-Ball: I am writing to express my utmost concern about the CN acquisition of the EJ& E Railroad. CN wishes to acquire it in order to circumvent the railroad bottlenecks in the Chicago area. I live less than 1/4 mile west of the EJ & E near Keating and Normantown Roads. There are about two trains per hour. I cannot imagine having more than that. The expected influx is expected to increase to about 45 per day! That's too much for a primarily residential area to be able to absorb. The cost of backed up traffic---already a severe problem---, idling engines (noise), increased pollution and potential for more accidents with both trains and cars makes this increase nonsensical. You're creating more bottlenecks by implementing more bottlenecks. That makes no sense at all. Please do NOT allow this to go through. Thank you for hearing me out. Sincerely, Debra Breckenridge
