Dear Sirs, This is to formally voice our opposition to the proposed acquisition of EJ&E by CN due to the impacts that it might cause our neighborhood. We lived on the west side of the train tracks for 14 years and did not find it to be too troublesome and decided in 2004 to move the current property on the east side of the same tracks. Now that the number of train that is going to pass on these tracks will be going up significantly, It sure will cause a lot of issues including crossing safety which is number one especially when kids are considered, the traffic log jam will be unbearable along the side street with grade crossing, noise and air pollution is another major problem, as it is we have horn blaring at the middle of nights already, the house vibrates when a train comes by and the damage to the house will be much more sever if there is a lot more trains. We bought in this neighborhood with the understanding of how it is going to be like but not some thing that is going to change drastically. Please accept our appreciation in considering our options when dealing with this matter. Thank you very much!
