We live in Cornerstone Lakes subdivision adjacent to Smith-Powis rr crossing. Adding the # of trains going thru this area would greatly and adversing affect the quality of living here, with additional noise, blockage of Smith Rd, not to speak of the danger since this track is RIGHT NEXT to the school grounds. The high increase in train traffic would be a detriment to our daily lives -- the crossing is not gated and would become a huge hazard with the high volume increase of trains. It would force a lot of people to look elsewhere to live by destroying our tranquil community.
