Although I don't live close to the crossings that will be impacted by the increased traffic from the proposed CN purchase, I am concerned with the safety of other residents along the route, particularly in light of the Star line. Also, as a potential future user of the STAR line (I work in St. Charles near the proposed North Ave. Station and live a short walk from the Naperville East station), the study must consider the impact of the increased CN traffic upon Star Line peak hour operations as well as the combined CN and Star line traffic upon grade level crossing safety. Finally, a possible consideration of the study should be the impact of rising fuel prices on piggy-back freight traffic. I assume rail fuel charges are more economical per mile than long haul truck. This factor may also be influenced by increased enforcement of maximum driver hours. Taken together long-haul piggy-back freight may further increase CN's projected EJE traffic. Thank you for your consideration
