I would like to personally request an outright denial of all priveledges that CN is asking for regarding the purchase of EJ&E railroad. I live .5 miles of the track in question that will run through the cities of Wayne and West Chicago. The increased rail traffic will make my living here impossible as this train system will block 3 of the 4 roads near my home to travel East. More than my own concerns it would deeply impact the small town of Wayne and my community in West Chicago from emergency vehicles being able to arrive for my safety. Safety is a basic human need that should NEVER be taken lightly or not considered. It is basically wrong to allow increased railway traffic in a residential area. Municipalities work diligently to make sure there is public safety on its road systems and I believe this additional train traffic would impede their efforts to provide the safety that we all pay our taxes dutifully for. So from an environmental standpoint (noise and pollution), a safety standpoint, as well as community standpoint I plead with you to not allow this transaction to split and endanger the citizens of all the areas this affects. I thank you for your time.
