Regarding the proposed acquisition by CN Rail, I am opposed to this merger if it means an increase in rail traffic. This area is already becoming highly congested with normal road traffic. Having an average of two freight trains an hour blocking major arterial streets during rush hour and all night is not beneficial to the residents of this area. Unless CN Rail is willing to pay for overpasses at every crossing, then please do not allow this merger to take place. Thank you.
