The Increase of trains in our area will really affect every aspect of our lives. Our children's school is located less than 1/2 a mile away from a railroad crossing in which the trains must sound their horns. The CN is proposing to increase the train traffic from the current 15.7 to 42.3 trains in a 24hr period. (Section EJ&E 10) This would be horribly disruptive to the children in school. Also, Many of the local businesses that we frequent for groceries and clothes require us to cross these tracks. With this increased traffic we would spend most of our time sitting at the crossing waiting for a train to go by. I am apposed to this proposal they should not be allowed to increase the train traffic in this area.
