Not sure if this is the place for this type of comment, but I recently found out about the proposed Canadian National Railway acquisition of the EJ&E Railway company. Our neighborhood, which is filled with small children, is adjacent to the RR tracks. It is my understanding there will be a significant increase - more than double - in the number of trains that would be traveling these tracks. Not only would this be extremely disruptive to the traffic flow, but it would greatly impact the quality of life for my family and those in the surrounding neighborhoods.
