I am writing reference to docket number FD 35087 concerning the proposed aquisition of the EJ&J railroad by Canadian Railroad. I am opposed to this aquisition because the increase in railroad traffic will pose a significant safety problem for the students and parents of school district 204 in Naperville and Aurora, IL. Thousands of our students must cross these tracks at grade-level crossings. I understand the train traffic will increase from a few trains per day, to two trains per hour. This will cause a safety problem, and will cause long and frequent traffic jams.
