I am in favor of the CN/EJ&E railroad merger. It will help reduce the bottle neck that the Chicago area rail hub has been experiencing. This should lead to lower merchandise costs and timely delivery of goods going through the Chicago hub. The EJ&E railroad is a vital railroad that has been under-utilized for years. The 'not in my backyard' attitude is without merit, since the railroad was in place before the 'complainers' moved in.
