As a resident who lives on the west side of the EJ&E line, I oppose the purchase of the railroad by CN. Although trains pass through West Bartlett Rd approximately 5 times a day, it is a great inconvenience since the trains sometimes stall or requirement a great amount of time to pass through. I have been stuck as long as 1 hour and had to take a long detour to get back to my house. With CN's estimates of running approximately 25 trains through West Bartlet Rd, traffic will be unbearable. It is also potentially dangerous because is it cutting off the main road for emergency vehicles trying to get into or out of the west side of Bartlett. Delays of emergency vehicles can be life threatening. The increased traffic can also lead to potentially dangerous chemical spills from the railroad. Many of the families living on the west side of EJ&E's railroad have young children. Schools are located approximately .25 miles away to the East & West side of the railroad. I, as a parent, do not want to risk the lives of my children and my neighbors children due to chemical spills from the increased train traffic. Please consider blocking the purchase of EJ&E by CN. Thank you, Dennis Cura
