Diesel engines are a major source of particulate and smog-forming pollution. Diesel exhaust is considered a probable carcinogen (a cancer-causing substance). Indeed, the dangerous pollutants in diesel pose a cancer risk greater than any other toxic air pollutant. And because diesel engines are so often operated where people live, play, work or go to school, they can directly impact human health. Railroad also contribute to noise pollution in unacceptable level as blasting the horns anytime 24/7 and rumble trough the villages. CN and our officials must understand that! NO TO CN !
