While I realize the pending acquistion by CN of the EJ&E is a business decision and will benefit the shareholders of Canadian National, has anyone thought of the legacy we are leaving our grandchildren? Why doesn't the US Gov't show its true commitment to a green" future and acquire the rail line under emminent domain for the purpose of saving it as a free public right of way for walkers, runners, bicyclists, etc.?"
