I am very concerned about the potential sale of the EJ&E Railroad to CN. My concerns include matters such as: 1. Safety - at-grade crossings near my home such as the track intersections at 111th and 119th streets, accident probability and the transportation of hazard materials so close to my home! 2. Noise and Vibration - I already hear several trains per day that do not abide by the Quiet Zone" rules that are supposedly in place at Normantown Road/119th street. I fear that an increase in whistle blows will be even more disruptive to my family 3. Traffic - Plainfield is growing so fast that traffic is already a huge concern and the additional train traffic will only make this much worse on the community 4. Air quality - with such a dramatic increase in train traffic, the emissions from railroad operations will negatively impact air quality 5. Property Values - my home value in the Auburn Lakes association will no doubt drop due to this sale. Thank you for your consideration - Julie Lindley"
