We bought our home in this community to provide a safe, healthy environment for our family. Allowing these hazardous materials to pass through our neighborhood jeopardizes our safety. We should not be exposed to this risk - especially considering the number of trains that will be passing through the area with these materials. Considering the decling economy and decreased home prices, many of us will be trapped in our homes and exposed to these materials with no option to move away in the short term.
