As a wife and mother living in Barrington, I am concerned about the proposed EJ&E train traffic increase. I love living in this community and feel safe and content because I feel that my family is in a secure environment. However, if the proposed train schedule is allowed to happen I think it will be disruptive to our community. The thought of being tied up at train crossing for 5-10 minutes while a freight train is going by doesn't seem right and if someone I loved or cared about was ill or needed help and I couldn't get to them because I had to wait for a train I would definitely be distressed. For more reasons than I can even begin to explain I don't want EJ&E to send numerous freight trains through our town, please stop them.
