I am seriously concerned regarding the new railroad acquisition in the Aurora/Fox Valley area. The increase in number of trains passing through this area is alarming and will have an extremely negative impact on the envronment in terms of traffic operatios, safety to children and noise and vibration. Our environment is already distressed enough and our community feels the results of this stress on a daily basis. This will only further the damage and amplify the crisis that our environemnt is already in.
