This is regarding the proposed Canadian National Railway Co. Acquisition of the Elgin, Joliet and Easter Railway. This purchase would significantly increase train traffic through the barrington area blocking routes to the main hospital for the area, Good Shepherd Hospital. As a phyisician minutes do matter in a patient's outcome and delay caused by the trains obstructing emergency vehicles can results in deaths and permanent disabilities.
