I am critically concerned with the prospect that the already congested and rail clotted roads of the Village of Barrington may become much worse if the EJ&E rail line is sold to any company that will increase traffic. I take my kids to school... and cross several rail lines... including the EJ&E to get to and from the school. Anyone who crosses town will has to cross the EJ&E at least once and sometimes several times. Between the commuter line and EJ&E, things are already bad enough. Increased traffic on the EJ&E will tie the village in knots, create dangerous situations at crossings, increase traffic congestion and delays, discourage individuals from shopping in the village, and generally be a big negative for the village. If there is any way to devise an alternate route or sink the rail line below grade, that would be very helpful. Thank you for your time and consideration don ruhter
