I am very concerned about the sale of EJ&E railroad south to Canadian National. I live in a subdivision that buts up to the rail line. I don't like the idea of 28 trains a day, plus the danger of toxic chemicles being transferred in through my neighborhood. Traffic and safety will be a nightmare while traveling through town. What about an emergency? Trains will be running more than every hour. This is absolutly ridiculous. I wish that lawmakers would think about how this sale will affect our life. I am sick and tired of the citizens of this country being put on the back burner. We have rights, and we do not want this sale to go through. What about our home value? Please consider us for a change and do the right thing. If the sale is approved which I'm sure it will be because you arent affected by it, at least build a berm, construct over or under passes at your expense and do develop quiet zones and make them manditory. I hope that you will enforce it too.
