I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed increase in rail traffic resulting from the acquisition of the EJ&E by the Canadian National. I respectfully ask that the STB consider limitations on the number of trains allowed per day as part of your review. Further, the placement of enhanced safety gates at the local grade crossings should be funded by the CN as part of any approval.
