I am against the CNRC acquisition of the EJ&E Railway Company. The added traffic to an already traffic ridden town would be disasterous. I am concerned about the safety issues as it relates to blocking access to Good Shepherd Hospital. I am also very concerned that the extra traffic would affect the police and fire mobility around town. I am also concerned about the noise factor and the vibrations the trains would cause. I think the acquisition would be terrible for Barrington and am 100% against it.
