I am writing to tell you that my wife, Cathleen, and I are vehemently opposed to the Canadian National Railroad's plans to acquire the EJ&E railroad. We have four young children, and the increased rail traffic in Bartlett, IL will result in safety and pollution issues that will wreak havoc on our community. In addition, how can we get to work, school, sports, stores, etc. with 30+ trains per day blocking our access to the heart of our town??? This will cost us hours each week and that is simply intolerable. This will destroy our community. Feel free to contact me to discuss ther matter peronally.
