I oppose the CN acquistion of EJ&E railroad. Due to the many health, environmental, safety issues - we as a community can not afford to have the railroad block West Bartlett Road. This the only direct roadway in to the 5 subdivisions from the heart of Barlett, IL (the East). As we all know TIME is so important in the event of an emergency. As a 8 year resident of Bartlett, IL, I have unfortunately had to witness 3 occurances of ambulance assistance within the last 2 years. One of which was a child with asthma. Our children's safety is more important than the monetary value of the this acquisition. Please help us in our community to be a safer one. Thank you. Sincerely, Meredith Miraglia and famliy.
