I am a concerned mother of 2 and live in teh Westridge subdivision. I am very concerned about this new takeover of the EJ&E railroad. It is already difficult with the current EJ&E trains that are constantly stopped at the tracks by my house. The new acquisiton would increase the number of trains that use these tracks. I am very concerned about he safety issues associated with this. Bartlett has finally built a firestation close to our homes and the new trains that stop may hlat the emergency services needed and this scares me especially as I now have children. I beleive more tarin backups would also harm our environment with all the traffic being held up on West Bartlett Road. This road has gotten busier and busier every year with more and more traffic. I beleive all the emissions would be harmful to our environment around us. I hope you will seriously consider not permitting this acquistion to take place. WE all need to think of the future for our children teh next generation. This train intersection is already difficult, please do not make it worse! I wish someone would think of an alternative- please help our community!
