I am writing to you to express my concern regarding the EJ&E track sale to CN. I live next to the track and if the increase in traffic is allowed, my home will become unlivable since the noise and vibration will destroy our environment. I am also very concerned about what will happen to the endangered animals which live next to the tracks in Flint creek. How will these animals (herons) and fish be able to reproduce and live if they are constantly harmed by the noise and vibration of the additional trains of one an hour? Also, what happens if there is a spill? The Flint Creek Watershed is a very important water way for all of Northwest Illinois. There are also in town issues in regards to safety and the ability of ambulances and fire equipment to get across the tracks in a timely manner. The road traffic will become unbearable as the trains cross every hour and this will cause many more car accidents as more peolpe try to use smaller roads to get around the train traffic. Please do not let this sale go through! Let's turn this track into a trail! Let us save the environment...CN only cares about profit and they will not reduce the Chicago traffic, they just want to increase their revenues and will go to any length to do so....including destroying the environment. Let us put people before profit! Thank you for considering my request. William Kinsella
