RE:STB Finance Docket 35087. Railroad freight traffic through the Northwest and West Suburbs of Chicago has become a real problem and causes delays to street traffic on a regular basis. This inconveniences many, many people on a daily basis. Emergency vehicles have been delayed by freight train traffic. The acquisition of EJ&EW by CNR/GTC and subsequent rerouting of rail traffic to areas outside of the heavily populated suburbs is a good idea and will benefit many, many people. I recommend that the STB approve this acquistion.
