This is in regards to the Canadian National-Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway” proceeding. To increase the amount of traffic on the tracks that run directly behind our homes along Normantown Road in Aurora is frightening. We already deal with loud train whistles all night long that repeatedly disrupt our sleep and traffic delays at the crossings. We do not have any sound barriers. You cannot have a conversation in your home without having to wait for the train to pass. We have three crossings along the length of our neighborhood and are unable to tolerate the amount of current noise. We've asked the local alderman to address the issue of the noise and cars cutting through our neighborhood because of the train traffic but have not had any releif. Please do not allow any more traffic along those tracks.
