I am an individual citizen and if we allow the CN deal to go through there must be contingency in place to provide 1. that CN must fund overpass improvements to address the traffic situation that will occur, 2. funds to the villages for street repair that will be needed due to cut through traffic on interior roads, 3. funds for police to train on hazmat issues & derailment and 4. continigency funds to our water supply in case of a spill. I am very concerned that we would allow this sale to proceed were the businesses win and the individual tax payers pay the bill both in required improvements to our road systems and delays in computing time. My last concern is for my neighbors that will have the property values degraded further due to the distruction the our peaceful quite community living. If there is nothing that can be done to stop this deal, then we need to make sure that it is win-win for all, the individuals, the villages and the businesses. Anything else should not be accepted.
