Opposed to the Cn purchase of the EJE. a) is transferring the heavy traffic burden from the present route appropriate and cause indeterminable problem to the surrounding community. NO b)CN willing to pay $360 millin for the EJE but to fix the route so that it is acceptable to the surrounding communities is a responsibility they are unwilling to accept. If they are willing to expend $360 million they should also pay for the upgrades and under or over passes. Enviromentally it is ridicilous. Noise pollution disruptions, delays by vehicles and commuters will exdpend millions of gallons of gasoline either as waste in the AIr or burinig out to thre enviroment and thereby creating SMOG. No thye should bre required to maintain their existing oute
