As a home owner, living adjacent to the EJ&E, I am strongly opposed to the purchase of the rail line to CN. I have lived in the NW suburbs of Ill. all my life and am quite aware of the problems caused by rail traffic in several of the towns along the currant rail line. I BEG you to refuse the CN purchase today! Why must we be selling off our country piece by piece to other countries so that they may fill their pockets and ignore the risks and expenses to OUR areas of OUR country? The increase in rail traffic will be devastating to many MORE TOWNS along its path! Property value's , not only, will plummet, but Safety issues have NOT been addressed and the environmental impact has not been studied to it's fullest. Please, please DO NOT give Canada what they WANT and ignore what we NEED! Think, just for once, about US and THIS country instead of the selling off to BIG BUSINESS! Distraughtfully Sincere, J SCULLY
