Please reject CN's proposal to acquire the EJ&E railway. I have serious concerns with how the freight train will negitively impact our community. My greatest concern is for the safety of the people in my community. In the past year we have lost two teenage boys due to being hit by a train. This has been devistating to the friends and families of those who knew those boys. We also cannot afford to put our children at a higher safety risk when commuting to school daily. Thousands of our children pass over those tracks on a daily basis. The trains will also negitively impact the traffic situation in our town (Barrington). I'm also concerend with the materials that will be transported thru. our community. Will there be hazardous materials? We need more answers! Please don't let this proposal pass.
