As a resident and school bus driver/monitor for special needs children for our school district, I strongly oppose the Canadian National Railway's (CN) proprosed acquisition of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway (EJ&E) line. The number of trains that disrupt our normal travel time to and from the school at this time is enough. We do not need to have the number of trains tripled to cause our children to be delayted from getting to school and returned home. The students do not have to 'pay' for this disruption. As a taspayer of Will County, I do not want to have to help pay for the improvement of the railways for a corporation to run their business. Please make sure this acquisition is defeated.
