To whom it may concern - I am a citizen of the Barrington village and very very concerned about CN using those tracks going through Barrington. We live on Hillside Ave, a street that has a lot of families with children living on it - It is currently a cut through from 59 to Northwest highway. If this CN purchase goes through - the traffic will be even worse than it is today! Barrington already has HUGE traffic issues - being in the cross hairs of Lake Cook road, Northwest Highway, 59 and all the Metra activity...we CAN'T take anymore! One day a child is going to be hit and killed on Hillside OR any other cut through street (because of bottle-neck traffic and impatient drivers) and we're all going to be saying - SHOULD'VE, COULD'VE, WOULD'VE.....!!!!!! This purchase effects everything and increasing the traffic activity on cut through streets is just another example of how far reaching this is. The traffic is already so bad that you practically have to take your life into your own hands just to GET THE MAIL from the mailbox. Please Please Please do not allow this to pass!!!! The families of Barrington Village do NOT want this! We worry for our children and city. Thank-you for your attention. -Lynda Hough
