I most strongly urge you to please, please consider the impact of the proposed acquisition of the EJ&E Railroad by Canadian National on the people of the communities this will effect. This line runs through my backyard, literally, and increased freight traffic will profoundly, adversely affect my asthma and other health issues, as well as those of my children. We will not be able to open our windows or have the children play in the backyard should this acquisition proceed as planned. And who would buy this property from us? Our life's investment would be lost. This impacts our ability to send our children to college!! You must, in all good conscience, see that this and many, many other issues MUST be considered!!
