Please do not approve the purchase of the EJ&E by Canadian National. We live in a new subdivision that is predominantly a home for families with children ranging in ages from newborn to teen. There is a kindergarten located 1/2 mile from the train tracks. There are always children present on the streets or playing in backyards. The main reason why people moved to this subdivision and not the others in Frankfort, is the abundance of children. The additional increase in train activity to one per hour will definitely affect their safety. The noise level is also very hard to bear during the early morning hours and will even be more difficult when it becomes more constant. We purposely moved out here to be away from the city. In a place where we can feel safe and allow our children to play outside. This purchase will have a great impact to our lives, especially our children who will no longer be able to play outside because of a train that will run every hour - 24/7.
