I reside in Frankfort and am extremely opposed to the Canadian Railway buying EJ&E railroad. The frequency and duration of the railroads will have a detrimental effect on our community that I am shocked that it is even being considered. Our whole community,schools,hospitals and public transportation lie north of the railroad tracks.When was the last time the rails were updated? We all understand growth but to hold us hostage to these trains and their schedules/frequency is a bitter pill to swallow. Are they guaranteeing that they will not add more trains on the rail lines the canadian Rail says will be taking away from. And if they do, then what?? What are our guarantees that they won't go over the 28-30 and that's 2 per hour!! Do you want to live here and be subjected to this decimation of our communities? This has to be stopped and be dealt with different results that won't be endangering the lives of the public.
