This pending business transaction would be devastating to our community. We moved here from Chicago to provide a country setting/environment to raise our family. Not only would these trains cause a tremendous amount of traffic, pollution and endanger the citizens of our community; these trains would turn our small town"/low key mentality to a stressful, noisy and dangerous city. Our community will not survive this proposed acquisition. I know many of us would just move and Barrington would never be the same. We are known as horse country...we'd like to keep it that way...is it asking so much to stay simple in today's fast paced business minded world?"
