Please do not allow the purchase of EJ & E rail line by Candadian National. Our railroad crossing on Ogden Ave. is already dangerous enough due to lack of visibility with the condos being so close. We have to rely on the working of the crossing signal in order to be safe. If they fail to work, people will die because you cannot see what is coming until you are on the tracks! Increased traffic issues would also result. My driveway gets blocked every morning when a train comes through because traffic gets blocked from entering Ogden Ave (Rt. 34)and I live 3 blocks away from Ogden! Yet another reason to not approve this purchase: we have Rush-Copley Medical Center (a major hospital for this area) just down the street from the tracks. Ambulances travel down Ogden all of the time and have a hard enough time getting through traffic w/out making them stop even more than they already have to. Thank you for your consideration.
