I live the unincorporated Barrington, Ill. area. The proposed CN acquisition of the EJ&E Railroad will cause undue havoc, and pose a grave danger both environmentally and emergency services to the entire area. The EJ&E crosses all major roads in and surrounding the village,and the commuter line. The steadily increased traffic on the EJ&E has already caused major traffic delays, and this will only get worse with the proposed acquisition. Mitigation even now is essential.
