Dear Ms. Johnson-Ball, To understand just one of the dozens of problems associated with this transaction, please watch a short video on You Tube. When at You Tube, please type in Fight Rail in the search box. It's the first video (has a black screen) that comes up. This is just one of four at grade crossings in my town. If the STB approves this deal, all four crossings could easily be blocked at one time. The poor soul who's on the otherside of those tracks waiting for the EMS is dying and there's nothing that can be done about it. How can this be right??? There are no direct benefits for me or anyone in my town if you approve this. Shifting the rail problems in Chicago from one area to another without fixing them doesn't make ANY sense. Why are we supposed to be paying for this??? What about CN??? Mr. Harrison has said publicly they'll pay $30 to $40 million for mitigation. That's not enough to pay for changing one crossing, let alone the 15 recommended in the DEIS. Again, how can this be right? Please say no to CN. It's time we start taking care of our citizens. Thanks, Rory Crouch
