My family and I live within 1/2 mile of the EJ&E tracks. From an environmental standpoint, the proposed increased traffic would be harmful in terms of the potential for accidental spills or incidents along the line that may impact my and other neighborhoods. Additionally, the excess noise and air pollution from the increased trains would overall adversely affect my family and my neighbors.
