Our house is just 300 yards from the tracks. The noise from the trains will greatly reduce our sleep. Lack of sleep will degrade our health. Lack of health will reduce our productivity, and degrade our childrens education and lives. And the increased train traffic will make commuting through town an all day affair. We bought our house in this area to avoid this kind of problem.
