Dear Phillis, We need your help. I am writing to inform you that the CN's Proposed Acquisition of EJ&E is not right for our community and it is not right for our country. If this passes, another Country now owns an even bigger portion of our rail lines. No disrespect to our neighbors up north, but this is not the time to be selling the farm. I know that you are busy dealing with the Bailout, and good bless you for helping here, but in a sense, the lead up to the Bailout is like the EJ & E buyout....only a few will benefit in regards to monetary value, while the community suffers.
