We need to make sure THAT THE STB KNOWS – WITHOUT DOUBT – THAT CN'S PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF THE EJ&E IS A NET REGIONAL NEGATIVE. Our streets are congested enough with additional Rail Traffic, there are enough Train Pedestrian accidents without additional Rail Traffic. This will affect more than my community cutting off main traffic routes from Cary, Crystal Lake and beyond who travel through Barrington Everyday. I am most concerned about school age children and their impact. If CN wants the rail have them pay for overpasses and underpasses to offset their increased useage!
