Please reject the proposed aquistion before its too late. American citizens are living with the economic mortgage crisis because elected officials turned their heads until it was too late. Please do the right thing and reject the proposed aqcuistion and help main street america, what our conuntry is built on! The negative impacts our obvious but we should be especially concerned about congestion of emergency vehicles, school busses and of course everyday commuters. The Impact Study does not include an accurate number of trains. Phase II of CN’s Rupert Sound Container Terminal will increase the Impact Study number of 25 trains (one way) by 4x. (from 500,000 TEUs to 2,000,000 TEUs) CN plans to build a second track along the current EJ&E track and will have the capacity, in 2010, for over 100 trains PER DAY going in both directions.
