I am extremely concerned about the proposed Canadian National acquisition of EJ&E Railroad. This presents extreme saftey concerns for our community. As a parent of 3 children attending school within Barrington, I am concerned not only about traffic congestion but about the inability of emergency vehicles to be able to reach our schools. When freight trains pass through Barrington, it literarly shuts down the town. I fear it will seriously impact quality of life and our economy. Please do not let this pass!
