Please do not approve the purchase of the EJ&E Railroad by Canadian National Railway Company. This acquisition would affect our area immensely whereas other areas are better equipped to deal with this extensive railroad traffic. One path through the city of Chicago has elevated lines through most of it and would be least disruptive of any. Also, at a time when we are trying to cut costs and avoid environmental destruction, it seems as if this proposal is leading our nation in the wrong direction. This concern applies not only to the environmental impact that the train would have going such a distance out of its way but also to the increased impact when so much traffic is affected. Already at many of these intersection, traffic can be affected for nearly a mile. Again, please do not approve this purchase. Thank you for your time and consideration, Sandy Keefe
