Dear Phillis Johnson-Ball The proposed acquisition of the EJ&E by Canadian National railway will be a devastation to our area. I have 2 young children and another on the way. I have to cross the tracks several times daily to take my children to school and to after/school activities. I live a block from the railroad. I worry about the safety of all the trains that will be coming 24/7. The increase of trains, noise, hazardous cargo, congestion, depreciation of home value, decreased quality of life is going to affect my family and community tremendously. I urge the Surface Transportation Board to do the right thing and turn down this sale. Do not sacrifice our lives and communties by putting this superhighway train right through the heart of our town. Thank you for your consideration.
