After reviewing the DEIS for the proposed CN aquisition of the EJ&E railway, it is all too clear that CN has NOT demonstrated this acquisition would be a greater benefit to our society, nor to our economy, than it would be detrimental. Specifically, the failure of CN to objectively quantify the negative economic and quality-of-life impacts to the affected cities, counties and region renders this plan as nothing more than anecdotal. It would be irresponsible of you and the STB to approve this acquisition. I urge you to REJECT the CN proposal.
